hufffsss sorry for the absence, the school year is off to a busy start uvu I’ve been very preoccupied with my sculpture and wheel throwing classes - spent probably a third of my waking hours in the ceramics room for the past couple weeks x.x

here’s why! our first project is to build something life-size based on a memory, event, or dream. There were lots of problems along the way but I think I like how this one is going. Stacked together, it’ll be over 6 feet tall (if the base doesnt shatter into a million pieces in the kiln, which I am fully expecting. check out those cracks yo)

anyways, now that this monstrosity of a project is (half) over, I’m hoping to spend some more time on digital stuff and commissions C:

Oh man, this trade was amaaaazing! So much stuff and so much love went into everything! Im so so so proud of us!! c:
(I am upset because Roxy’s left arm sagged in the oven which sucked but it still looks like shes waving so thats good!)
Oh I do love making these figurines in this new style! Its so fun!

check out this Roxy!!! I squealed out loud when I saw all the clothing details, like her little open hood and mask!! and those heart eyes!! her face is so adorable, this style is super cute :> and I couldn’t even tell her arm had sagged! she’s just wavin at me from the shelf~

Yooooo check out all this sweet loot I got from Nicky!! 

Her half of the trade arrived yesterday and I am sooo happy and overwhelmed and thankful. Five whole sculptures - look at em!! Mega Absol is simply amazing. Roxy, jade, and nep are the cutest (all my fav hs girls in one place i can’t handle it)!! and the surprise kitty is sooo adorable i just wanna hold it all day. plus she sent me a bunch of chocolate goodies that are made exclusively in New Zealand?? so now my art collection shelf has doubled in size and my snack drawer is stocked with sweets. I’ve been floating on a cloud since i opened the package ahaha <3 

I could go on and on (and I will when/if she posts pics of the sculptures herself) but basically this was an awesome trade and i’m so glad it happened :’) if you enjoy quality sculpting like this, check out all her art!!
